BREITLING NAVITIMER 806 "TWIN JET" VINTAGE
The Navitimer received a modern touch in the early 1960s. The dial has been modified, now featuring contrasting white sub-dials so-called 'Reverse Panda", an aesthetic modification initially made on the SuperOcean a few years earlier, in 1957, and which brings a modern look and increased readability to the Navitimer.
Shortly after, the beaded bezel evolved into a serrated bezel, and around 1965, the Navitimer received the famous “Twin Jet” logo representing two superimposed planes, while some previous logos still remained in production.
This particular model is equipped with the manual-winding chronograph calibre 178 from Venus.
