ROLEX COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA "ZENITH"
The Rolex Daytona with the Zenith movement, produced from 1988 to 2000, is one of the most iconic versions of the model. Often called the "Zenith Daytona," it was powered by the Caliber 4030, a modified version of Zenith’s famous El Primero chronograph movement. Rolex made over 200 changes to improve precision and reliability, including reducing the high-beat frequency from 36,000 vph to 28,800 vph. This was the first automatic Daytona, marking a turning point in the collection’s history. This particular model has been very well preserved and features a beautiful "Patrizzi" patina, cream-colored subdials contrasting beautifully with the black dial.
